About the AuthorSing to the Lord; bless his name. Each day proclaim the good news that he saves. Publish his glorious deeds among the nations. Tell everyone about the amazing things he does. Great is the Lord! He is most worthy of praise! –Psalm 96:2-4, NLT
Jeff is an elementary teacher who loves to work with kids, enjoys telling stories, and finds delight in music. If not reading a biography of Bach or Beethoven, you might find him playing the piano, strumming the guitar, or picking the banjo. He is a native of California. Nancy grew up the youngest of seven children on a dairy farm in Everett, Pennsylvania. She helped milk the cows, bale the hay, drive the tractor, and pick giant weeds out of their humongous garden. After moving to California when she was 20, Nancy and Jeff met and were married. As a stay-at-home mom for more than 20 years, Nancy found true enjoyment in taking pen to paper and learning the craft of writing. Much of Nancy’s time is spent writing books and working on various manuscript projects. Her favorite topics to write about are God, Bible stories, educational subjects, and African American history. Some of Nancy’s favorite hobbies include taking walks with friends, sewing patchwork quilts, and capturing the beauty of God’s wonderful creation on film. She enjoys watching birds and butterflies, and has fun taking photos of an Allen’s hummingbird that visits the pink and lavender butterfly bushes just outside their kitchen window. Jeff and Nancy attend Calvary Chapel Chino Hills as their home church. They both benefit from reading through the Bible each year. Writing worship songs together is also an activity they enjoy. Vegetarians for more than 20 years, Jeff and Nancy have compiled a handmade cookbook of favorite recipes their family enjoys. They eat a diet of whole grains and tofu products, avoiding white flour, sugar, preservatives, and processed foods. The only sweetener they use is honey.
